Justice & Mercy

Sometimes we think justice and mercy are opposites.

Justice says, “What’s wrong needs to be made right.”

Mercy says, “That person deserves compassion.”

And if we’re honest, sometimes we’re really good at wanting justice for other people and mercy for ourselves.

But God calls us to both.
