Baylie Harnish
Local Outreach Lead
Baylie was born and raised in Dansville, NY, and has attended Dansville Foursquare Church her entire life. Growing up in the church, serving others and being involved in ministry have always been an important part of her life. Baylie currently helps lead Grace in Action Outreach, the church’s local missions ministry, which serves individuals and families in the surrounding community through food assistance, community meals, and other outreach efforts.
Outside of church, Baylie works with children and families at the Dansville Community Center and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
This will be Baylie’s second mission trip to Costa Rica with 6:8 Ministries, and she is incredibly excited to return. Her first trip gave her the opportunity to serve families and children, build relationships, and experience firsthand what God can do when people are willing to step out and serve. She is looking forward to returning to Costa Rica, continuing those relationships, and once again being part of what God is doing there.

Julie Harnish
Co-Pastor DFC
Julie Harnish has been a licensed pastor since 2002 and has faithfully served as Co-Pastor of Dansville Foursquare Church alongside her husband, Pastor Shawn Harnish, for more than 24 years. Julie has a genuine heart for serving others and sharing the love of Christ through compassion, encouragement, and meeting people where they are.
Much of Julie’s ministry and mission experience has been focused within her local community, where she has dedicated herself to helping individuals and families in need. While this will be her first opportunity to serve on a mission trip outside of her local community, her heart for missions has been evident throughout her years of ministry. She is excited to step outside of her comfort zone, serve in a new way, and allow God to use her wherever she is needed.

Jeannie DeRider-Harrison has been a lifelong Christian through the teaching and guidance of her earthly father, who taught her to know and love Jesus, her heavenly Father.
Jeannie has been a part of Dansville Foursquare Church for more than 6 years. She and her husband, Scot, first joined by watching services online, and for the past several years Jeannie and her husband have chosen to make the one-hour commute each way on Sundays to be part of the physical church community.
Jeannie has spent her entire adult career working with children and adults with diverse physical and developmental abilities. She and Scot live on a little homestead in Stanley, NY, where they support several local food pantries with grocery donations and fresh eggs from their hens.
This will be Jeannie's second mission trip to Costa Rica with 6:8 Ministries. She is excited for further opportunities to serve and engage with families and children, and to offer prayer, hope, and God's presence through the Holy Spirit working within each of them and within herself.

Julia has grown in her faith since that trip and is prepared to step out in faith to do things that are out of her comfort zone.
Julia speaks Spanish and has always wanted to travel to a Spanish speaking country to experience the culture. She is looking forward to combining this dream and serving His people.
Julia is looking forward to this new experience and is eager to see how God will move!

6:8 Ministries

Sarah Tewrey - Pfunanane
Active Missionaries
At 6:8 Ministries, our mission is inspired by Micah 6:8, a verse that encapsulates our purpose: “To act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God.” Founded in 2006, our journey began with a vision to make disciples through local outreach and mission experiences. Today, hosting mission teams remains at the heart of what we do, providing the foundation for our relational ministries.
Sarah and Mark Tewrey - South Africa
Pfunanane Ministries helps create new lives and brighter futures for the impoverished communities which surround the small town of Modjadjiskloof. It is centered around a Christian school, where local children receive a quality education, discipleship, compassionate care, and daily provision of basic needs, at no cost to those who can’t afford to pay.
FMI - Foursquare Missions International
FDR - Foursquare Disaster Relief
Foursquare Missions International (FMI) partners with the global Foursquare movement to make disciples of all nations. We are a missional force compelled by the love of Jesus for the whole world. That love changed our lives, and we want every person in the world to experience it, too. We team up with over 100,000 churches globally.
Foursquare Disaster Relief We serve as agents of peace in an increasingly chaotic world. The Bible clearly tells us to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, and minister to the least of these. Foursquare Disaster Relief brings the whole gospel to the whole world by meeting the physical and spiritual needs of people desperately in need of hope.
